AMES 493: Research Independent Study
Independent study at AMES follows the university's independent study guidelines. Independent study can count toward the 10 course requirements of the AMES major, but not towards the minor. No more than one independent study is counted toward the major, however.
Priority will be given to AMES majors although other majors will not be excluded. AMES majors who wish to graduate with distinction need to take AMES 498S the Fall of their senior year, followed by AMES 499S in the Spring.
