Special Topics in Critical Asian and Middle Eastern Humanities

Course offers in-depth introduction of theories and methodologies that may be used for the study of East Asian and Middle East Humanities. Approaches may include cultural studies, Marxism and psychoanalysis, gender and sexuality studies, nationalism and diaspora studies, empire and postcolonial studies. May be repeated for credit.
