Estelle Yihe Zhang

Yihe (Estelle) Zhang is a recent graduate from Peking University, where she majored in Japanese Language and Literature and minored in East Asian Studies. Her academic interests center on visual culture, affect, memory, and media, with a particular focus on contemporary Japanese/Chinese  cinema. Outside of research, Estelle enjoys wandering through city streets, attending theatre performances, shopping for groceries at odd hours, and lingering in bookstores and art cinemas.
