Chenyan Wang

Chenyan graduated from Beijing Normal University in 2022 with a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature as well as a double degree in History. Her research interests lie in the criticism and theory of Chinese Left-wing literature and arts, with a focus on the intellectual and the revolution. She is passionate about powerfully placing literature back into its historical context and reactivating the cognitive energy of literature through ideological, cultural, political, or social approaches. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, dancing, watching art films, visiting museums, and taking and sharing pictures of lovely moments in life.
