Intermediate Korean

KOREAN 204

Expands the scope of reading and discussion to a range of text types including expository texts. Develops skills for communicating meaning with increased accuracy and complexity. Students explore topics such as cityscape, pre-modern history, and environmental issues through course readings and materials and in student interest-driven projects. Prerequisite: Korean 203 or equivalent (ability to speak on familiar topics fluently, to read and understand simple stories and to write eligible sentences). Students with equivalent preparation to the prerequisite course should contact instructor for a permission number.
