The Japanese program at Duke hosted the 37th Duke Japanese Speech Contest on March 30, 2024 on East Campus. This contest had a total of 15 finalists from Duke University, Wake Forest University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Below is the list of winners:

 

 Level I:    

     1st Place:    Darwin Cai (Duke University)  

     2nd Place:  Liam June (University of North Carolina at Charlotte)

     3rd Place:   Robert Devoe (Duke University) Charlotte Grace Foxx (Wake Forest University)

Level II:  

     1st Place:    Sara Oike (Duke University)   

     2nd Place:   Lennox Luo-Ramirez (Duke University)

Level III:  

     1st Place:    Zichen Wang (Wake Forest University)
