Qiwen graduated from Fudan University and received a B.A. in Chinese Language and Literature. Her working dissertation will be about Pema Tseden’s Tibetan films. Her research interests include critical theory, Chinese contemporary culture, and sociocultural anthropology. She is a feminist, a frequent traveler, a mother of a cat, and an artist working in photography and filmmaking.
